If I was, I would've found it easier to get home because I was reduced to weakly headbutting the back gate, which had swollen shut, to try and get into the garden to lock my bike up.

Having failed, I dragged it round front and through the house.

I just compiled the list of everything I've done in 2018 and no wonder I'm completely tuckered out. I've played seven games and run up to five depending on criteria. I've been working. I've been growing.

Bloody hell, that's a lot of stuff. I just thought of some more. I'm gonna post the year in retrospective words edition here - it'll be weird, I'll have that here, where long posts are appropriate, then I'll have my art retrospective on my art blog, and my selfies retrospective on my personal blog.

I'll probably link them here though.

It's still pretty sad I won't have a photography year in retrospective this year, but I don't go interesting places really and it's hard to enjoy photographing the same damn campus day upon day. One day I'd like to figure out how to photograph the sunset through my office windows, though. Last year's photography retrospective was difficult to look at anyway, you could tell the point I got sexually assaulted because the quality and quantity dipped so drastically. This year's would probably have a similar dip though for a different reason and I hate that.

In other news, I think I've sussed out how dreamwidth is meant to work but... damn it's quiet here. Hey! Folks who read this! Quick! What's your favourite dinosaur?

Mine's Yi qi because it's just so damn WEIRD. Also tiny and cute.

Oh, troodon are good! Smart probably-omnivorous (why did I type herbivorous?) toothy dinos.

Triceratops is also cool! Although I haven't been following developments - the latest I heard was the idea that Torosaurus was just the mature form, so I checked in and APPARENTLY that's not a thing? Like it got disproved in like 2013 and I missed it. Still, the word 'toromorph' sounds badass even if it's now obsolete.

Oh those are good, I love their big-ass claws. Wasn't that stunning photo of the paleontologist with the big dino arms he discovered them?

That was Deinocheirus actually. I think therinzosaurs had a more complete skeleton.
